Jobless Mom-Of-12 Known As ‘Queen Of Benefits’ Who Collects $50k Per Year Gets Dose Of Karma

Note: we are republishing this story, which originally made the news in October 2016.

A 34-year-old English mother of 12, Cheryl Prudham, allegedly stole over $12,000 in change from parking meters. No stranger to controversy, she previously sparked outrage for receiving more than $49,000 annually in welfare, earning the nickname “Queen of Benefits” in the media.

Earlier this year, Cheryl was spotted browsing for a Mercedes at a dealership near her home in Wigan, Lancashire, further fueling public criticism.

Cheryl’s estranged husband, Robert Prudham, 31, faces charges for stealing $12,886 from parking meters and failing to disclose past convictions to a recruitment firm. Cheryl is accused of handling the stolen money.

Along with Jacob Undertown, 27, the trio faces identical charges but denies the allegations. They allegedly stole cash and coins from multiple car parks in Maidstone, Kent.

Cheryl, Robert, and Jacob Undertown will stand trial in November, according to the Daily Mail.

A part-time cleaner, Cheryl had six children with two men before having six more with Robert. The couple split after she claimed to have caught Robert in a threesome with his own cousin.

“I don’t want another man because they’re too much work. Robert hurt me, and I find it hard to trust again,” Cheryl admitted.

Despite this, she recently revealed plans to have another child via sperm donation, claiming she’s addicted to pregnancy.

While married, Cheryl and Robert reportedly earned $73,626 annually and managed to avoid a $31,899 benefits cap. According to The Mirror, having a 13th child would allow Cheryl to claim additional benefits, further increasing her financial support from the government.

“Another baby would mean more benefits, so the more the merrier,” Cheryl said.

“I’m not concerned about the benefits cap; there are always ways around it.”

She plans to use the extra money for breast enhancement surgery and a tummy tuck.

“I’ve spent most of my life having babies, and now I want to treat myself and focus on me for a change,” she added.

”I’ve had offers of dates but I can’t be bothered with men any more and I’ve realized having babies makes me happy.”
